NAFA TO HOST DESIGNER FUR SHOWING
North American Fur Association, NAFA, will bring together highlights from the fall/winter collections of several top international fashion designers. The show, themed as ¡§Simple Pleasures¡¨, will be presented in China Lounge, a chic and modern venue on Wednesday, October 8, 2008.
Fur, fashion¡¦s oldest natural fabric, has been the choice of leading designers for many years. The rich, warm color palette of NAFA¡¦s fine quality furs along with a diversity in texture and density lends itself to styles that are simple, yet elegant, with a sense of luxury that is pure pleasure to wear.
The star studded list of designers will include: Michael Kors (New York), Julien MacDonald (London), Gianfranco Ferre (Milan), Karl Lagerfeld (Paris), Oscar de la Renta (New York), Carolina Herrara (New York), Izzy Camilleri (Toronto), Dennis Basso (New York) and Badgley Mischka (New York)
The NAFA brand represents the largest supplier of fur skins from the United States and Canada. The NAFA family of labels includes Black NAFA, which designates the world¡¦s finest quality of black mink; NAFA Mink, which represents superior mink in other colors; NAFA Fox, which denotes Canadian silver fox; and NAFA Northern which is used to identify a variety of wild furs that meet high quality standards.
